BAKER, Joyce (nee: Bowman), 73, of Franklin and formerly of Florida and Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the Atrium Medical Center. Born December 12, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH to Virgil and Minnie (nee: Marshall) Bowman, she worked for several different nursing homes over the years as a Nurses Aide. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and had a fond affection for animals. Joyce played the mandolin and guitar and while living in Arkansas she played in a country music band. Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Arnett Howard and Lynn Baker, her brothers, Michael and Cecil Bowman, she is survived by her son, Tony Arnett Howard, her sisters, June Bowman of Morrow, Jean (Wendell) York of Franklin and Janice (Roger) Kinney of Franklin and her beloved cat and dog, Tommy and Grace. A graveside service will happen at a later date at the Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
