Joy Evelyn McGuffey, 44, of Morrow, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born on February 24, 1981 to Earl and Evelyn (nee: Kesterson) McGuffey in Ronceverte, WV, Joy loved spending time with her children, family and friends, listening to music, the beach and attending Bible camp in the summer.

She is survived by her parents, her four children, Jessie (Dylan) Tucker, Emma Nicely, Mylie Nicely and Ryder Gilbert, four brothers, Joseph (Joan) McGuffey, Jason (Christy) McGuffey, John (Kitra) McGuffey, Jared (Misti) McGuffey, her sister, Jenny (Jason) Crawford and 16 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, from 5:00 PM-7:30 PM with a  service on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM all at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason. Arrangements by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
