HELTON, Johnny, 69, of Morrow, passed away on Friday July 23, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born February 8, 1952 in Morrow, OH to Lester and Nannie (nee: Ward) Helton, he was a heavy equipment operator working for Gallenstein/ G & G Excavating for many years before his medical retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Mason and Jason Helton and his sister, Helen Smith. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jan (nee: Thomas) Helton of Morrow, his daughter, Julie (Ray) O'Brien of Blanchester, his mother in law, Dee Thomas Phillips of Cincinnati, his sisters, Delphia Fletcher of Lebanon and Betty Wells of Texas and two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Kyle James. Visitation, Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 11 AM until 12 Noon with the funeral service to follow at 12 Noon, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Reverend Anthony Smith officiating. Interment follows in Morrow Cemetery.
