John Michael Sizemore passed away peacefully at Bethesda North Hospital on September 23, 2023 at the age of 46. John was the son of Bobby and Jewell Sizemore, born December 25th, 1976 at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
John grew up in Morrow, Ohio loving to play sports, hanging with friends and camping on straight creek with his family every weekend where he learned to boat and water ski beside his father, he later became a member of The Flotilla Boat Club. As a 1995 graduate of Kings High School he was known for his amazing personality and being able to bring a smile to the face of all his classmates.
John lived his life happily in Morrow where he made life long friendships and attended church at The First Baptist Church of South Lebanon. He loved to cook and serve others as he was a chef by trade and spent many years catering events large and small, more recently he had taken part in a ministry called " Soup For The Soul ", which provided a warm bowl of homemade soup to anyone in need. He loved using his fine tuned skill of cooking to spread the love of his savior, Jesus Christ, and he did just that any chance he got.
John loved music, and you could catch him singing everything from rock and roll to old church hymns in the kitchen any given day. He could also be found having bible study at his dads workbench in the garage or playing with his grandson, Holden, at his home. The accomplishment he was most proud of were his children. John loved to talk about how proud he was of both of his children and grandchild. He was an amazing father and Papaw.
John is preceded in death by his parents and will be forever missed by his sister Janet ( Micheal) Branch, daughter Haleigh (Zachary) Fair, son Jackson Sizemore, grandson Holden Fair, nephew Clayton Gebhardt, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 13th, 2023, from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM at The First Baptist Church of South Lebanon 505 Mason Road South Lebanon, OH 45065.
