Sexton, John Bruce, 77, of Lebanon passed away on Thursday August 29, 2024. John was born in Frenchburg, KY on October 1, 1946. He was raised in Warren County, OH and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1966. He retired from the US Air Force, then moved to Columbus, OH and worked as a plant maintenance engineer for the Ohio State University. After his second retirement, he returned to Lebanon in 2005 with his wife. After his wife's death, John moved to Otterbein Lebanon where he had many friends and acquaintances.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirlie, his parents, William and Cassie (nee: Blevins) Sexton. Survivors include his brother, Jerrold W. (Candace) Sexton of Belton, MO, his niece Christina and her family, his nephew, Aron and his family and many loved family members.

Visitation, Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4-6 PM with a funeral service following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment with military honors will occur on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 9 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery. Memorial donations requested to the Warren County Animal Shelter.
