ROBINSON, John Mason Sr., 76, of Lebanon and formerly of the Columbus area, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Bethesda North Hospital after a period of declining health. Born May 19, 1946 in Clarksburg, WV, to Willis Mason and Ruth Richmond Robinson, he proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. John was a graduate of Virginia Tech and worked as a computer programmer and system administrator, retiring in 2013.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irene Wild Robinson; his two sons, John (Jennifer) Robinson Jr. of Danville, VA, and Mark (Stacey Long) Robinson of Lebanon, OH; two sisters, Jerry Sapp of Inverness, FL, and Patricia Tickle of Roanoke, VA; two grandsons, John Robinson III and Zach Robinson; and many other extended family members.

John was a family man who enjoyed playing bridge with his friends, creating and gifting original pottery, and spending time during the summer in Nags Head, NC with his family. His unique sense of humor will be missed.
