JONES, John Paul Jr, 96, of Lebanon, OH, died Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Otterbein Lebanon. Born March 15, 1924 in Findlay, OH to John Paul and Mary (nee: Voelker) Jones, he was a retired United Methodist Minister serving many churches through out his 60 year career. Preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jean and his second wife, Allene, an infant daughter, a step daughter in law, Kay (Bob) Dinwiddie, his sister in law, Nancy Jones and his brothers, Wayne and Robert Jones. He is survived by his son, Craig (Gail) Jones of Wheaton, IL, his daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Leitner of Scottsdale, AZ,his step daughter, Jane (Dick) Petersen, his sister in law, Pat Jones, his grandchildren, Cynthia (Joshua) Gerry, Kristen (Brett) Lucas, and Joshua (Jennifer) Jones, two step grandchildren, Ben Leitner and Amy (MIke) Alley, and eleven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Otterbein Lebanon Benevolent Care Fund, 585 N St Rt 741, Lebanon, OH 45036.
