John David Gilcrist, 43, of Goshen, OH, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his residence.  Born on November 9, 1979 to Patrick and Annette (nee: Knowles) Gilcrist in Miami, FL.  John enjoyed going to concerts and hiking. He had a big heart, loved his family and friends more than anything and fought for what he believed in. He had many friends, and knew exactly what to say to make you feel better.  He was the knight in shining armor and always ready to help family and friends in need.

He is preceded in death by his father and wife, Autumn Moore, he is survived by his mother, Annette Gilcrist,  girlfriend, Heidi Farnsley of Goshen, OH, son, John David Gilcrist II of Marietta, OH, daughters, Tiffany Gilcrist of West Virginia, Jade Gilcrist of Marietta, OH, Elliot Gilcrist of Marietta, OH, brother, Patrick Gilcrist Jr. of Lebanon, OH, and grandchildren, Lillian, Kade, Camdyn and Zaydyn.

Visitation, Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM.  All at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.  Interment will follow in Hopkinsville Cemetery.
