John F. Callahan, 63, of Morrow, OH, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence.  Born on August 12, 1960, to Diana Francis (nee: Flynn) Hocutt in Glen Ridge, NJ.  John was a proud United States Navy Veteran and he was a member of the St. Saviour Parish in Deer Park.  John will be remembered for his terrible dad jokes, his love for sports, including the Bengals, Spurs, and Reds, his love for music, an interest in completing puzzles and playing games and his love for Faith and Family. He was a friend to everyone he met and never knew a stranger. John was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by, Morris "Pop" Hocutt, he is survived by his loving mother, his wonderful  wife, Cindy (nee: Long) Callahan, three daughters, Sarah, Alyson, and Rachel Callahan of Morrow, three brothers, Brian (Marcy) Callahan of Tennessee, Marc (Julie) Callahan of Cincinnati, and Pat Callahan of Cincinnati, and grandson, Benjamin "lil man" Callahan.

Visitation, Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3:30 PM-4:30 PM with a service immediately following at 4:30 PM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. In memory of John's love of sports, the family asks that you please wear your favorite sports attire to the service.  Doug Sibcy to officiate.  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Limbs for Life.
