John Andrew Brooks, 76, of Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his residence. Born on August 31, 1946 to Ulyss and Hannah (nee: Hill) Brooks of Dayton, TN, John was a US Air Force veteran, serving eight years during Vietnam. He was a kind hearted, loving man that could easily talk to anyone. He deeply loved his family, his community, being outdoors, playing with the dogs, and sitting on his bench in the woods.

Preceded in death by his parents and 13 siblings, he is survived by his wife, Margaret "Bunny" (nee: Woebkenberg) Brooks, his daughter, Carrie Ann Brooks (Jon) Schepke of Evanston, IL and three grandchildren, Jack, Katherine and Joseph Schepke.

Visitation will be held, Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following, at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Lebanon High School Athletic Department. John loved supporting the students and watching them grow, learn, and achieve their goals on and off the courts and fields.
