JoAnn Elizabeth (nee: Marquis) Snider, 95, of Lebanon, OH, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Traditions of Lebanon.  Born April 29, 1928 to Harry and Elva (nee: Clark) Marquis in Lancaster, OH.  Jo was a 1951 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she met the love of her life, Willard Snider, while square-dancing on campus. She worked as a teacher and food service director for Lebanon City Schools. In her early life, she enjoyed camping, waterskiing, and travelling.  Jo was an avid Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan and she never missed a game from either team.  In her later years, reading was her favorite pastime. Joining in 1959, Jo was a long-time member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church.  Family and friends were the most important thing to Jo, she was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Willard Snider, and sister: Betty (Dick) Hanby.  She is survived by her son: Michael H (Lisa) Snider of Colorado Springs, CO, daughters: Catherine Snider Riggin of Lebanon, OH, Rebecca Snider (Michael) Woods of Columbus, OH, and Deborah Snider of Lebanon, OH, grandchildren: Jonathan, Ashley, Krystal, Brandon, Michelle, Christi, Emily Jo, and Benjamin, great grandchildren: Brycen, Braxton, Kaelynn, London, Elise, and Ivy.
