JoAnn Eldred, 83, of Lebanon went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Bethesda North Hospital. She bravely battled the symptoms of a stroke for several months. She was born on December 19, 1939 to Johnnie and Margaret (McDaniel) Naron in Marshall, TX. Her family moved to Texas City, TX when she was in high school and she lived in her beloved Texas until she moved to Ohio in 2012. JoAnn, also called Mom, Meme, Bebe, and the Beebster, was all about her kids and grandkids. Her love language was gift giving. It made her heart happy to buy her kids or friends a meal or give them birthday money. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved celebrating our Saviour's birth and loved that our family would get together and she could give presents to her kids. She was the most giving and loving Mom (Meme/Bebe) and her sweet and gentle hands and hugs will be greatly missed. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eldred, her parents, Johnnie and Margaret (McDaniel) Naron, her son, Lynn Eldred and her daughter, Lori Armstrong. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Leslie (Allen) Randall, her sister, June (Phil) Farrar, her brother, Johnnie (Debbie) Naron, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10 AM until 12 Noon with funeral service immediately following at 12 Noon, all at the Oswald Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
