Jo Ann Turner

TURNER, Jo Ann Carol (nee: Bowling), 95, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away peacefully at her home on September 2, 2026. Born September 2, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH to Woodard Daniel and Gladys (nee: Garland) Bowling, she was a Morrow High School graduate class of 1949. After receiving her bachelors degree in Entomology from Miami University in 1953, she went on to work as a lab technician for University Research Labs for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 72 years, Donald Albert Turner, her three sons, Phillip D. (Olesia) Turner, Douglas AV (Ann) Turner and Stephen A. (Katja) Turner, her daughter, Juliane C. Turner and her sister, Joyce Demitt.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11 AM at the Morrow Cemetery. Arrangements by the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
