Born on October 7, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Herbert and Doris Michael. Jerry spent his formative years in Maineville before settling in Lebanon, Ohio, where he built a fulfilling life and career. He married his high school sweetheart, Judy, and they shared 56 loving years together. Jerry's devotion to his family was unwavering. He leaves behind two sons, Jeremy (Joyann) and Jeffrey (Lisa), and 4 cherished grandchildren, Sienna, Whit, Nicholas, and Leah, whom he cared for deeply.

Jerry, a Vietnam veteran, served his country with honor, earning a Bronze Star for Valor. After returning home, Jerry embarked on a successful entrepreneurial journey, founding a local insurance agency that thrived under his leadership. He later welcomed his youngest son, Jeff, into the company, and together they shared 15 years of happy collaboration.

As an active member of the Lebanon baseball community, Jerry coached both of his sons and dedicated time and resources to the program.
