Jeanne Carol Wirmel, 83, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Traditions of Lebanon. Born on January 14, 1942 to William and Cecelia (nee: Size) Wirmel in Cincinnati, OH. Jeanne was a proud Army Veteran and an animal lover. She worked for the San Francisco Police department and San Francisco had always had a special place in her heart. When she moved back to Cincinnati, she was happy to be back home because her heritage was very important to her.

She leaves her sister, Mary Cook, 3 nieces, Mary Lynn Schiller and Suzanne Giannetto and Amy Childers, her devoted grandniece, Stephanie Childers, a caring companion, as well as several other grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, she also leaves behind a beloved second family in Gilmer, TX.

She will be laid to rest with military honors in Dayton National Cemetery, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Warren County Veterans Services or the Humane Association of Warren County.
