James "Jim" Brian Swearingen, 50, of Morrow, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born on August 25, 1974, Jim is survived by his wife, Kristy (nee: Khulenberg) Swearingen, and their daughter, Grace Swearingen. Son of Susan (nee: Miller) and the late Carlos Swearingen of Morrow, OH, and sister Elizabeth Swearingen. Grandson of the Late Harry and Mabel (nee: Gaffin) and Dorothy (nee: Manne) and the late George Miller.

Jim was loved, cherished, and respected by many of his friends and loved ones. He was a graduate of Little Miami High School and was class of 1992.  Jim enjoyed working with tools, creating and building. Jim was able to combine his leadership and craftsmanship into a long career of building homes. His last job was working for Drees Homes, where he loved working with his fellow employees and subcontractors.  Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Visitation, Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 4 to 6 PM with service immediately following, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow.
