Obituary

James Andrew Kreitzer Jr.,  age 41, of Springboro, OH passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Known as Jim (or Jimbo to many of his friends), he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ula Jean Kreitzer and his maternal grandparents, JC and Lela P. Rodgers. Jim is survived by his loving parents, James Sr. and Rise' (Rodgers) Kreitzer.

Jim graduated from Springboro High School where he played on the varsity tennis team and Sinclair Community College with a degree in Automotive Technology.

For the last 16 years Jim, along with his father, Jim Sr, has worked at St Francis DeSales in Lebanon, OH. Although Jim loved working around the wonderful staff, the best part of the job was interacting with his father.

Jim had many passions with his first being his furbabies: Jake, Mimi and Beatrice. Jim took great care of his pets and during these last few months they have been of great comfort to him. His parents will continue to love and care for them.

Not many people knew what a talented musician he was. Jim played many instruments including piano, coronet, guitar, bass and drums. With his best friend Tim playing along on the drums, Jim entertained family and friends playing his guitar as he would invite others to join in on their band. Jim also loved to draw and paint using an airbrush.

On the weekends Jim loved spending time on the family farm in Hillsboro where he enjoyed the wildlife and sitting around the fire pit.

Another of Jim's passions included his cars with his Buick Grand National being his pride and joy. Jim loved going to car shows, cruise ins and car races. On many occasions he would participate in Test and Tune as well as compete in Grudge Matches at KilKare Speedway.

Although he leaves behind many friends and family that will miss him, no one will miss him more than his parents who loved spending time with him. It's the simple things in life like hiking, biking,  fishing, and grilling out that Jim loved the most.

Many thanks to those who contributed to Jim's GoFundMe account (please know this went to many medical bills as well as supplies needed throughout his journey), to the thoughts and prayers, to all of the delicious home cooked meals given to us, to the gifts that comforted Jim and to the artwork created by the students. Jim enjoyed looking at each and every piece of artwork that the children created for him. And a special thanks to his Aunt Barbara for the many long days she took care of his furbabies.
