James W. Howard, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Embassy of Lebanon. Born on December 25, 1941 to Galen and Lola (nee: Vanderpool) Howard in Salyersville, KY. James served in the United States Army, he then later retired from Ford Motor Company in 1998. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, and was a member of the Eagles 1395 and the VFW 6069.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edgar Paul Howard, Bruce Wade Howard, Roy Woodard Howard, Homer Gene Howard, sisters Rena Delores Holbrook, Virginia Bernice Dyer, and Jessie Marie Howard, he is survived by his wife Sandra (nee: Hollingsworth) Howard, sister-in-law Jan Hollingsworth, sister-in-law Ruth Howard, stepson Kevin (Jo) Conner, two granddaughters, one grandson, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Visitation, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 12 PM- 1PM, with a memorial service at 1PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Queen City Hospice. https://queencityhospice.com/donate/
