James L. Cross, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Heritage Springs in West Chester. Born on April 13, 1941 to Reed and Mary D. (nee: Sawyer) Cross in Albany, KY, Jim retired from Cincinnati Milacron as a Lab Tech. A member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Jim sang in the choir and was active with the men's group at church. He owned a farm in Brown County, OH where he enjoyed working on it for seven years. In his free time he was often reading, fishing or golfing. He volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and worked with the Lebanon Food Pantry.

Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Fred Cross and one sister, Sue Ann Rieth. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah (nee: Case) Cross, one son, James Eugene (Melissa) Cross of Independence, KY, one daughter, Amy Beth (Dean) Sellers of Lebanon, one brother, Daniel Cross and five grandchildren, Katherine Sellers, Molly Sellers, Patrick Sellers, Addison Cross and Chace Cross.

Visitation, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Pastor Steve Cramer officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Lebanon United Methodist Church in memory of Jim Cross or to James Dobson's Family Talk, PO Box 39000, Colorado Springs, CO 80949-9000 in memory of Jim Cross.
