Iona Mae "Terry" Williams

Iona Mae “Terry” (nee: Terry) Williams, 98, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at her residence. Born on January 28, 1928 to Glenn and Eva Marie (nee: Barnhart) Terry in Cincinnati, OH, Terry attended the University of Cincinnati where she obtained her teaching degree. She was a devoted member of the Lebanon Community Methodist Church and a member of the Countryside YMCA for over 31 years. Terry was an incredible table tennis player and was active with the National Senior Olympics from 2009-2019 where she participated in games all across the country. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, “The Lovelys” - a group of 8 women she met while attending the University of Cincinnati.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Nathan Williams, and one son, Tim Scott Williams.

She is survived by her son, William Terry Williams of Lebanon and her daughter, Debbie (Michael) Current of Loveland.

Visitation, Monday, June 29, 2026 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM, all at the Lebanon Community Methodist Church. Pastor Matt Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Countryside YMCA.
