EARNHART, Helen Louise (nee: Zimmerman), 93, of Lebanon, OH, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Otterbein in Springboro.  Born on September 28, 1929 to Fred H. and Genevieve (nee: Loyd) Zimmerman in Lebanon, OH.  In her younger years, she was a talented singer, performing at area functions and singing in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.  Helen was a graduate of Lebanon High School and Miami University where she received her B.A. in elementary education.  She enjoyed a 30 year career teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at Clearcreek Elementary School in Springboro.  She loved telling a good story, reading a book, and spending time with family and friends.  Helen especially took joy in her grandchildren.  She had a talent for counted cross stitch and created many keepsake quilts and pictures for them.

Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Genevieve Zimmermen, sisters, Marjorie Furnas, Frances Jean James, Linda Bramlage, and her high school sweetheart and husband of over 60 years, Donald M. Earnhart.  She is survived by her son, Donald (Christine) Earnhart, daughters, Kathleen (David) Winks, Karen (John) Karnes, eight grandchildren, Claire (Matthew) Mickletz, Mark Earnhart, Michelle (John) McCarthy, Emily (Brian Simpson) Weikert, Megan (Nate) Makse, John (Amy) Karnes, Elizabeth (Matthew) Spies, Kathleen Karnes, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 3 PM-4 PM with a memorial service immediately following at 4 PM, all at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Lebanon Presbyterian Church or a Hospice of your choice.
