Helen L. Carpenter age 77 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Oct 25, 2022. Born December 9, 1944 in Blanchester, Ohio. Helen was the daughter of Elmer and Ivagean Keeton.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Dixon and Edith Thompson.

Helen is survived by her loving husband Phillip T. Carpenter of nearly 60 years, her daughter Teresa (Edward) Maschinot of Carlisle, OH and her son Phillip T. (Cindy) Carpenter, Jr. of Senioa, GA; three granddaughters, Courtney (Luke) Lawson of Carlisle, OH, Catelyn (Brett) Wright of Fortson, GA and Carolyn Grace Carpenter of Senoia, GA and four great grandchildren Carter, Sawyer, and Harper Lawson and Cameron Grace Wright; one brother Larry (Kathy) Keeton and many other family members and dear friends.

Helen was a 1962 graduate of Little Miami High School. She worked as a secretary at DAV in Cincinnati, OH. Helen and Phil were married on February 22, 1963. She went to be with her husband who was in the United States Coast Guard in North Carolina in 1964. After returning back home with her husband in 1965 she worked for the Warren County Board of Education in Lebanon, OH and eventually went to work with Metropolitan Insurance Company and retired in 2000 after 20 years of service. Helen and her husband loved to travel. They traveled to all 50 states, went to the Holy Land three times and also traveled to many countries.

Helen did ministry work at several different churches. She was a choir member and robe coordinator for Powerful Praise Choir while a member at Princeton Pike Church of God. Helen was also a member at Stratford Heights Church of God. She loved her church!

Visitation, Monday, October 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Stratford Heights Church of God with a service immediately following at 12:00 PM. Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
