Gladys E. (nee: Bland) Clark-Peters, 85, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at University of
Cincinnati Hospital in West Chester, OH. She was born August 14, 1936 in Bolivar County, Mississippi to
Otis and Beatrice (nee: Hendrickson) Bland. Gladys was a waitress for most of her life. She served for
many years at Bill Knapps and Bob Evans. She enjoyed attending Anchor of Hope Church and eating at
the Country Kitchen.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Clayton H. Clark, Jr., her second husband,
William K. Peters, her son, Brent A. Clark, and 2 daughters Barbara Cooper and Beverly Tate.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Pauline) Clark and Brian (Jenny) Clark, her daughters, Belinda (Dean)
Rittierodt, Bonnie Juris, Beatrice (Bryan) Norris, and Becky Vliege, her step-daughter, Laurie (Dave)
Lamb, her brother, Harvey Deihl, her sisters, Lois Hawley, Waneda Webb, Jean (Jim) Boice, her 22
grandchildren Angela Wetz, Scott Clark, Ryan Clark, Tommy Jones, Joe Strickland, Brad Strickland, Mindy
Richards, Stan Kroener, Amanda James, Brooke Martinez, Chris Cole, Ricky Estep, Cody Estep, Brittany
Earls, Heather Meza, Christina Clark, Nathan Ledbetter, Faith Cooper, Brandon Cooper, Keith Hill, Charity
Rivera, April Williams, and 44 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 11:30AM – 12:30PM with services immediately
following, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment will follow at Edwardsville
