Gerald E. "Jake" Jones, 76, a lifelong resident of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Optimized Senior Living. Born to Eugene and Katherine (nee: Burnside) Jones on June 20, 1948, in Dayton, OH. Jake was a veteran in the United States Navy aboard the USS James E. Kyes DD 787 and served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the VFW post 6069. Jake founded and operated his own construction company, Gerald Jones Construction. He later served as Director of Building Services and retired from Warren County with 30+ years of service. Jake was an avid model train enthusiast and Civil War history buff.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Jake is survived by his wife, Karen Jones of Lebanon, his son, Ian (fiancée, Jill) of Franklin, his daughter, Kendra (fiancé, Adam) of Waynesville and 3 grandchildren, Madison, Ryker and Oakley.

Visitation, Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with a service beginning at 12:00 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the DAV.
