STRUNK, Geneva Payne, 96, of Lebanon, OH got her wings and went to walk with the angels on February 16, 2023. Geneva was born on January 15, 1927 in Oneida, TN to Thomas Payne and Daisy (nee: Morgan) Payne.

She left Oneida and made her way to Cincinnati, where she worked at US Playing Cards, Autolite, and then International Paper from where she retired. She was part owner of LaDeeques Fabrics in Lebanon where her sewing talents were showcased. As a life long Quilter, she designed and made many heirloom quilts. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook. Her lemon meringue pie was a favorite. Sports were a passion of hers, especially the Cincinnati Reds.

Geneva is survived by her son, Steven (Denise) Strunk of Lebanon, OH; grandchildren, Stacey (Kyle) Carter of Piedmont, OK and Stephanie (Alexander) Nishimori of Ft. Campbell, KY; her sister, Edith Foster of Oneida, TN and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She loved her family unconditionally and made many sacrifices for them. Geneva was fondly known as Katie or Granny. She lived a simple but full life. She made a difference to all who knew her and she will be always loved and missed.
