Frederick "Fred" P. LaFollette, 75, of Morrow, passed away at home, peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Born on May 22, 1950 to Frederick and Ruby (nee: Glancy) LaFollette in Cincinnati, OH, Fred retired as Fire Chief of the Salem/Morrow Fire Department. He was active with the Ohio State Fire Chiefs' Association and the Miles Greenwood Historical Fire Apparatus Society. In his free time he enjoyed camping and boating. He also served as Morrow Village Administrator, was elected to the Village Council and served on the Morrow Water Board.

Preceded in death by his parents, half brothers Danny and Larry Whitacre, half sister Joanne Short, and sister-in-law Joann LaFollette. He is survived by his loving wife Gale (nee: Hurst) LaFollette, his son Scott (Melissa) LaFollette of Cincinnati, his grandson Leon LaFollette, one brother Lee LaFollette, one sister Martha LaFollette, one half brother Don Whitacre, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at the Salem-Morrow Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Shriners Children's' Hospital or to the Salem-Morrow Fire Department.
