HARDY, Douglas, 76, of Morrow, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home. Born November 16, 1948 in Dayton, OH to Thomas and Doris (nee: Helsinger) Hardy, he was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School. Doug served in the US Navy from 1968 until his discharge in 1972. He retired from Kings Local High School in 2015 after more than 25 years on their maintenance and custodial staff.

Preceded in death by his parents, his step son, Damian Sumner and his sister, Elaine Coffman. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda (nee: Meiers) Hardy, his daughter, Hope Sowders, his step son, Ralph (Liz Donovan) Sumner, his brother, Curtis (Sharon) Hardy, his sister, Joanne Ingram and Susan (David) Reed and his granddaughter, Kylee Sumner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church in Morrow. Father Brice Berger presiding. Interment follows in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati. Arrangements by the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
