BLOUNT, Dorothy "Joanne" (nee Middleton), 88, passed away surrounded by her family, Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her residence in Lebanon. Dorothy was born November 29, 1933 in Morrow, OH to Edgar and Hazel Marie (nee: LeVeck) Middleton.

Dorothy worked for GC Murphy as an Account Clerk and Fujitec. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and Pleasant Grove Church of God. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Blount Sr., two daughters, Debra Newton and Cynthia McCollister, one brother, Donnie Middleton, one sister, Helen Hogan, one special nephew, Robert Hogan, one granddaughter, Sherry Reynolds, and one great-granddaughter, Chloe Ruffner.

She is survived by her son, John (Melinda) Blount Jr., three daughters, Kathleen Burris, Joanna Sallee, and Barbara (John) Hare, one brother, Edgar William Middleton, one special niece, Shauna Bledsoe, one special nephew, Kenny Hogan, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 3 PM- 5 PM. Services will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2 PM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment to follow in Morrow Cemetery.
