HENSLEY, Donna Jean (nee: Rooks), 64 of Morrow, passed away on Thursday December 22, 2022 at Hospice of Cincinnati. Born June 8, 1958 in Middletown, OH to Herbert Hoover and Margaret (nee: Sombortz) Rooks, she was a nurses aide for many years at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Morrow. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Hensley, her son, Herbert Allen Hensley, her daughter, Melissa Renee Rooks and her brother, Herbert Allen Rooks. She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Hensley and Laura Thompson, her sons, John, Jeff and James Thompson, her brother, Gary Rooks, her sisters, Brenda Rooks and Karen Bolin, her sister in law, Sheila Rooks, her grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Jasmine, Brenden, Cameron, Ashley and Austen Thompson and Dylan Schmurr and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 10 AM until 11 AM with funeral services immediately following, all at the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Pastor Jason Faulkner officiating. Interment follows in Morrow Cemetery.
