Donald Eugene Perry, 89, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at his residence. Born on December 23, 1934 to Carl and Wilma (nee: Steiger) Perry in Spencerville, OH, Don graduated from Spencerville High School in 1952 and then went to Bowling Green from 1952 to 1953. A few years later, he attended the Central Academy of Advertising in Cincinnati from 1955-1956 before being drafted into the Army in October where he was stationed in Germany for 18 months. After he returned home from the Army he graduated from Central Academy of Advertising in Cincinnati in 1960. Don worked for Cincinnati Lithography, Cincinnati Enquirer, Parker Advertising, NCR and SanMarGale Farms.

Preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Ashley Guizzo. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (nee: Stolle) Perry, two daughters, Anita (Rob) Brown of Hillsboro, OH, Tania (John) Maloney of Beavercreek, OH, two step-sons, Curt (Sheri) Cranmer of Waynesville, OH, Ed (Stacy) Cranmer of Lebanon, OH, one step-daughter, Cathy (Ron) Chasteen of Lebanon, OH, one brother, Glen (Joanne) Perry of Milton, FL, one grandson, Brendon Starrett and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 AM, all at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. Reverend Casey McDaniels officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Mary Jo Cropper Foundation or Hospice of Dayton.
