Donald Mitchell, Jr.

Donald “Don” Horace Mitchell, Jr., entered his eternal home on June 25, 2026, at the age of 92. Born February 6, 1934 to Donald and Ruth Mitchell. He was a devoted husband to Lynn Mitchell and brother to Charles Mitchell. He is survived by children Jon Eric (Kathy) Mitchell, Kerin Leslie (Robert) Johnson, step-children, Patricia (Andrew) Lawrence and Alex (Kim) Shartle, grandchildren, Christina, Collin, Logan, Nick, Shaun, Daniel, Avery, Jordan, Alex and Abby and 8 great-grandchildren.

Don loved his family, his life in the country, and his church so very much. Hunting and fishing were a part of his younger years but later he just wanted to observe the wildlife. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa and his humor was much beloved by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lebanon Community Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM and a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Tunnel to Towers or the Lebanon Community Methodist Church.
