COLSTON, Donald Rodney, 81, of Lebanon, died Monday, December 17, 2018. Born December 7, 1937 in Covington, KY to Virgil and Clara (nee: Rupert) Colston, he was a longtime area barber who worked for many years at Herald's Barber Shop. A member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church, he was an avid golfer, was a huge Ohio State University football fan and tolerated the Reds and Bengals when they were winning. Don coached area youth baseball for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, his son, Craig Colston, his brother, Virgil Colston, his sister, Laura Corwin, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Talitha (nee: Hahn) Colston, his son, Kevin Colston, daughters in law, Barbara Colston and Shay Colston, and one grandson, Zachary Tyler Colston. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00, with a celebration of life service immediately following, all at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations requested to the American Cancer Society.
