Destry Carter Cable, a 26-year-old resident of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Born on May 14, 1998, to Jeff and Jennifer (nee: Hall) Cable, he graduated from Mason High School in 2017, where he was a member of the Mason High School Orchestra, playing the viola.

Destry pursued his academic interests, earning his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati School of Science and Engineering. He was employed as a Software Engineer at The MITRE Corporation.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Destry enjoyed developing video games, spending time with friends, and caring for his dog. He also found solace in camping and hiking.

Destry is survived by his parents, sister Sydney Cable, and a multitude of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11 AM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason.
