Obituary

Deborah Kay Johnson, aged 75, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Atrium Medical Center.

Born on October 4, 1950, in Middletown, Ohio, Deborah was the beloved daughter of James Burnett Johnson and Pauline Francis (Brandenburg) Johnson. Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering dedication and hard work as a longtime employee of General Motors, where she contributed significantly and earned the respect of her colleagues.

Deborah's compassionate nature was evident in her role as a devoted caregiver to both of her parents, whom she loved dearly and cared for with immense dedication and love. Her kindness extended beyond her family, as she was also an avid animal lover, always ready to lend a helping hand to animals in need.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, James Burnett Johnson and Pauline Francis (Brandenburg) Johnson. She is survived by her loving aunts, Lillian Brandenburg Johnson Rowley, Janet Napier, and Phyllis Chasteen, her uncle, Jack (Gayle) Brandenburg, and numerous cousins and extended family members who will hold her memory close to their hearts.


Visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Warren County Human Society.
