PONKE, David, 80, of Morrow, OH passed away at his home on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Born January
8, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Stephen and Lillian (nee: Gawronski) Ponke, he was a graduate of the University
of Michigan. As well as being an avid U of M fan, David was a gamer. He enjoyed spending time gaming
with his son and was a collector with a large selection to choose from. A nuclear engineer, he retired
from the Fernald Plant in 1992.
David is survived by his two sons, Richard (Paige Pewitt) Ponke of San Antonio, TX and David A.
(Meghann Frank) Ponke of Morrow, OH, his sister, Cindy Dobrzynski, his grandchildren, Dawsyn, Gaige,
Kenzie, Maddy, Casey, Erica, Kylie and his fur baby, Luna.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home,
Morrow.
