David Faryl Brown, 82, of Lebanon passed away on Friday July 22, 2022. Born January 1, 1940 in Lebanon to Clifford and Edna Ruth (nee: Hallsted) Brown, he was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School. David retired from General Motors in 2006 after 48 years and had served in various capacities most recently as a Warehouse Distribution Coordinator. In his 48 years of service, David missed one day of work due to a blizzard. A longtime member of the Lebanon First Baptist Church, David was active with several church choirs, including the choir at Otterbein and the Messiah Choir which sang during the Christmas Season. He was a Republican Central Committeeman, was active in the Fort Ancient Restored Machinery Club ("FARM Club") and was proud to serve as the Treasurer of the local Liars Club. David enjoyed hosting many different functions out at his barn, a place where everyone was always welcome.
Preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Nancy Marburger Brown, his second wife, Oneida Yeagle Brown, his brothers, Carl, Harry and Wayne Brown and his sister, Helen Burton.
He is survived by his wife of four years, Nancy Bruns Brown, brothers Glenn (Nancy) Brown, Gerald Brown; his children, Scott (Shelley) Brown, Joanna (Joe) Jandes, Yvonne Lee Yeagle, Rudy (Sheila) Yeagle; grandchildren, Brian (Kristy) Hoops, Jennifer (Zach) Foster, Abby (Justin) Taylor, Julie Jandes, Alyssa (Bryan) Schoenjahn, Cody Brown and great- granddaughter Riley Ruth Foster; Nancy's children Daniel, Patrick, Timothy, Matthew Bruns and Lucie Bruns Alig, Grandchildren Amanda (Dru) Quigley, Joseph (Michelle) Bruns, Austin and Traci Alig, and great-granddaughter Mckinley Quigley.
Visitation, Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10 AM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Reverend Steve Tufts officiating. Interment follows in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties, The Cleveland Clinic, or to the American Heart Association.
