BODLEY, David Lynn, 70, of South Lebanon, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born on February 21, 1950 to Alfred Scudder and Jeanette (nee: Whitacre) Bodley in Mariemont, OH, David was the type of person that will be remembered for giving someone the shirt off his back. David did not know a stranger, he talked with everyone. His number one priority was his two girls; spending quality time with them and watching them grow up. He was a great softball player, enjoyed going to Kings Island, watching his grandson play football and playing Solitaire.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his two daughters, Tamera (Jaceson) Pontecorvo of South Lebanon, Kristin Bodley of South Lebanon, two brothers, Dwayne (Cheryl) Bodley and Richard (Martha) Bodley, the mother of his children, Mavis Jones, his cousin, Jamie (Judy) Whitacre, four grandchildren Eric, Evan, Emily and Matthew and his two nephews, Timmy Bodley and Dylan Bodley.

Visitation, Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment will take place in Morrow Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.hoskinsfh.com .
