Bishop, Darlene (nee: Allen), 68, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at University of Cincinnati Hospital in West Chester, OH. She was born August 9, 1953 in Dayton, OH to William and Anna (nee: Strain) Allen. Darlene graduated from Kings High School in 1971. She was a member of Countryside Community Church of Nazarene for many years. She loved spending time with her family, but most importantly her grandkids.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Allen.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim Bishop, her 2 sons, Steve (Nicki) Bishop and Brandon (Michelle) Bishop, 1 brother, Elbert "Speedy" (Vickey) Allen, 1 sister in-law, Sandy Allen, 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Girvin, Shelby Russell, Hunter Bishop, Emmaline Russell and Sydney Bishop, 3 great-grandchildren, Easton Butler, Elaina Matthews, and Grayson Girvin.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 11AM – 1PM, with services immediately following, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment to follow at Morrow Cemetery.
