Obituary

STROUTH, Christopher Lee, 45, of Lebanon passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was born on a beautiful, warm summer day on July 23rd, 1977 in Kettering, OH to Stephen and Virginia Ann (nee: Laws) Strouth. Chris spent his youth running  around in the woods surrounding his childhood home with his brother, building forts, catching crawdads in the creek, fishing, and causing general anarchy amongst the wildlife. He played baseball and soccer in his youth, was on the wrestling and track & field teams in school, graduated from Lebanon High School in 1995 and spent a year at Miami University, before pursuing a career in Telecommunications. A huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Cincinnati Bengals, he loved spending time watching the games with his father and daughter. Chris was dedicated to making his children laugh at his antics and jokes (even if he was the only one that thought the joke was funny), spending time with his friends and family, and he loved the holidays, especially Christmas. Chris spent most of his career working at Brock & Sons, he was a dedicated, hardworking, loyal employee that considered his employer and co-workers his second family, and will be missed indefinitely by them.

Chris is survived by his loving parents, his paternal grandfather Carroll Gene Strouth, his son Logan Duncan, his daughter Calista Strouth, his brother Marc Strouth, sister-in-law Julie (nee. Novotny) Strouth and niece, Lauren Strouth. His extended living family includes his uncles,  David Laws and Kenny Strouth, aunts Carrol (nee. Strouth) Lamb and Selma (nee. Laws) Hood, cousins Aaron Ison, Justin Szatkowski, Nicolle (nee. Szatkowski) Rose, Kelly (nee. Taphorn) Sandling, Jonathan Miller, Katelyn Hood, Michael Fisher, Michelle (nee. Miles) Crook, and Marie (nee. Miles) Williams. He is also survived by his beloved girlfriend Tiffany Ruybal.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ronald Eugene Laws and Caroleen (nee. Beason) Hall, paternal grandmother Emma (nee. Gustin) Strouth and Rhonda (nee. Laws) Meece, Denise (nee. Laws) Szatkowski.
