HERALD, Cheri Lynn (nee: Phillips), 72, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Christ Hospital.  Born on August 5, 1951 to Robert and Allene (neee: Stokes) Phillips in Harlan, KY.  Cheri was a graduate of Kings High School, active in her neighborhood, and enjoyed gardening in her yard. Most of all, she drew immense joy from seeing her grand and great grandchildren.

Cheri was always quick with a smile and extremely giving to others. Cheri was loved and cherished by many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Tony Phillips, she is survived by her husband, Larry Herald, sons, Michael (Leslie) Herald, Larry Herald II, sisters, Pamela Votaw, Judy (Paul) Clark, Jocelyn Hamm, Bobby Phillips, grandchildren, Samantha Herald, Brittney Salyers and great-grandchildren, Dominick, Kendra, and Arabella.

Visitation, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 11 AM- 1 PM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.  A private burial will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. Cheri loved all children and was a financial supporter of ST. Jude's.
