Charles Howard Reif, 93, of Lebanon passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at his home. Born November 29, 1928 in Lebanon to Howard C. and Ladorah (nee: Guttery) Reif, he was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School.

After serving in the US Army, Charles spent his career as an assembly man at the NCR Corp before they shut their doors. After his time with NCR, Charles worked at Lebanon Raceway Foods for many years. Charles was active with many groups including the VFW, The Elks Lodge, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Preceded in death by his parents, his son, Steven Reif and his sisters, Edna Flick and Maeola Kellis. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Harlean (nee: Jordan) Reif of Lebanon, his son, Kenneth Reif of Lebanon, his daughter, Holly Brown of Tipp City, OH, his step son, Rob (Susan) Herrmann of Lebanon, his step daughter, Joni (Sean) Sexton of Michigan, his sister, Lois J. Koch of Lebanon, his grandchildren, Rachael, Christina, Megan, Zach, Tory, Kile, Hannah, Anna, Sam and Alex and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Paxton, Kolt, Nora, Emma, Lila, Owen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Monday, November 21, 2022 from 1 – 2 PM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment follows in Miami Cemetery in Corwin, OH.  Memorials requested to the Hospice of Dayton.
