LUNDQUIST, Charles August, 90, of Lebanon, OH passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at The Atrium Medical Center. Born October 27, 1933 in Cook Township, PA to Gustav H. and Margaret Eliza (nee: Phillippi) Lundquist. He was known to his family and friends as Chuck. He was a US Army veteran and was stationed in Germany during his service. After his service he became a toolmaker and worked for 34 years at General Motors in Northeast Ohio before retiring. The aroma of fresh baked bread often filled the house and his family and friends were frequently treated to freshly sliced warm bread with honey. Other interests included hunting, travel and camping. Some of the many camping trips included travels to Maine, Alaska, Colorado, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Florida.
Survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia (nee: Fiscus) Lundquist, his son, Brian (Jean) Lundquist, his daughter, Kim (Larry) Grindle, his grandchildren, Megan Lundquist, Rachel (Ethan) Kindwall, Briana (Adam) Hartigan, Sarah Grindle and Matthew Grindle, and two great grandchildren, Charles Kindwall and Cooper Hartigan.
