CROMBIE, Carolyn (nee: Whitacre), 93, of Morrow, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home. Born July 28, 1930 in Lebanon, OH to Eldon and Marietta (nee: Dunham) Whitacre, she was a longtime member of the Morrow United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Women's Club and the Morrow Progress Club and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Crombie, her son, J. Roger (Loretto) Crombie, her brother, Farmer Whitacre, her sisters, Esther Caldwell and Barbara Hillard, she is survived by her son, Doug (Gale) Crombie, her daughter, Lynn (Mike) Dane, her daughter in law, Carolyn A. Crombie, one sister, Virginia Kelly, five grandchildren, John (Mandy), Stephen (Alison), and Jennifer Crombie, Michael (Kiley) Dane, and Cara (Bill) Chapman, and eight great grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas Crombie, Emma and Ava  Crombie, Braylin and Mikenna Dane, Colton and Christian Chapman.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Morrow Cemetery. Reverend Brad Olson to officiate. Memorial donations are requested to Morrow United Methodist Church. Arrangements by the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow.
