Carolyn Coates (nee:Johns) passed away on Monday, December 18th, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving daughters. Born August 27, 1939, in Lebanon, Ohio, she was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School. Carolyn loved her jobs in the Lebanon legal community, a nice day in the sun, her pets, but above all, her family. She was an incredibly devoted wife and mother. Her pride and joy were her 3 daughters Dani Camp, (Kurt) of Texas, Julie Morrow, (Michael) of Lebanon, and longtime loving caregiver, Kellie Coates, of Lebanon, as well as her grandson Seth Morrow. She's also survived by her sister Ruth Swank, Vandalia, sister in law, Sue Oeder (Ronnie) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Dave Coates, parents, George and Edna Johns, and her sisters, Patty Kennedy and Phyllis Matter.

We'll all remember Carolyn's loving spirit, great sense of humor and having a Pepsi at Carolyn's table.

Visitation Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 11am until 12noon, with funeral service immediately following at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home.  Interment follows at Lebanon Cemetery.
