Middleton, Carol Ann (nee: Short), 77, of Mason passed away on Saturday December 11, 2021 at Mason Christian Village. Born October 23, 1944 in Middletown, OH to Orville and Loretta (nee: Robinson) Short Jr, Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed taking trips with family and friends. A dedicated member of the Countryside Community Church, she taught school for 40 years at the Lebanon Christian School before retiring in 2016.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Middleton, her daughter, Carolyn Helderbrand and her brother, Thomas Short. She is survived by her son, Justin Helderbrand of Mason, her two daughters, Robin (John) Wientge of Lebanon and Kathy (Randy) Himes of Maineville, her sister, Deborah Smith of Lebanon, her step son, Guy (Kathleen) Middleton of Mason, her step daughter, Heather (Scott) Middleton-Archer of Middletown, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation, Wednesday December 15, 2021 from 5 – 7 PM with funeral service on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11 AM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Pastor Lester Jones officiating. Interment follows in Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations requested to the Rick Milligan Scholarship Fund, c/o Countryside Community Church, 1436 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, OH 45036.
