Carol Jane Gaenge, 88, of Morrow, Ohio, passed away October 2, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, she attended Hughes High School and the University of Cincinnati.  She was born to Dorothy Codling Heitzler and Carl Heitzler on December 25, 1936.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Gaenge, where they were married for 66 years. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Cann (Jeff), son Gregory, four grandchildren, Brynn Gaenge, Meredith Gaenge, Parker Cann, Jena Cann, 2 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews, as well as her sister, Barbara Zentgraf. She attended Sycamore Presbyterian Church. She was involved with the University of Cincinnati Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, and she loved working in the gardens and feeding the birds.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Friday, October 10th at 11:00 at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on October 18th at 11:00 at Sycamore Presbyterian Church.  Please join us after the service for a light lunch. Memorials may be made to any local animal shelter of your choice.
