THOMPSON, Carl Dean, 85, of Morrow and formerly of the Peebles area, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Born June 14, 1938 in Peebles, OH to Jesse and Thelma (nee: Wallace) Thompson, he was a 1956 graduate of Peebles High School. He retired from Western Electric in 1985 after 20 years of service. Carl was a member of the Norton Church of Christ and the Lions Club. He loved being a part of the Pine Hills Golf League and was a volunteer for 26 years at the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Grace (nee: DeAtley) Thompson, his son, Jeff Thompson, his daughter, Teresa Lindsey and his sisters, Sharon Brooke and Janice Adams. He is survived by his three sons, David (Dian) Thompson, Mark (Susan) Thompson, and Mike Thompson, his brother, Dan Thompson, his sister, Marcy Houchen, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation, Monday, February 5, 2024 from 4-6 PM at the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Franklin Hills Cemetery in Canal Winchester, OH at 11 AM. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, reach out to someone you may not have spoken with for some time.
