Byron Douglas Ponchot, 38, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Born on October 22, 1986, in Cincinnati, OH, to Dana Ponchot and Cindy (nee: Koch), Byron was a dedicated Aerospace Machinist for Standard Aero until his illness. A cherished member of the Countryside Church of the Nazarene, Byron had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. His artistic talent was remarkable, and he also had a passion for playing the guitar.

Byron is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Erin (nee: Nulph) Ponchot, and their two sons, Cole and Eli. He is also survived by his father, Dana Ponchot (Shelley), his mother, Cindy Ponchot Watson (Don), his sisters, Erica (Chris) Pope and Evie (Mathew) Reed, his brother, Jared (Kristen) Ponchot, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 10 AM until 12 Noon, with the funeral service immediately following at the Countryside Church of the Nazarene, 1436 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, OH 45036. Reverend Lester Jones and Reverend Nick will officiate. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Oswald Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Memorial donations requested to the Lebanon Christian School.
