Bruce "Bootie"
Israel
Aug 10, 1951 — Dec 14, 2024
Xenia
Bruce "Bootie" Alan Israel, 73, of Xenia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties surrounded by family and friends. Born on August 10, 1951 to Robert and Marjorie (nee: Payne) Israel in Dayton, OH, Bruce was a proud veteran of the United State Air Force. Known for his easy-going attitude, kind heart, and love for the open road, Bootie touched the lives of countless people.
Bootie was a true friend to everyone he met. He never met a stranger. His warm smile and easygoing nature drew people in, and his genuine down to earth character made him a beloved friend. Bootie was always willing to lend a helping hand, join in on a cross country road trip, or simply share stories over a cup of coffee while hanging out at Frishes.
To his closest friends, Bootie was a respected, loyal, trustworthy and truehearted brother. The deep bonds with his fellow brothers were forged with decades of a shared passion for the open road, the thrill of the ride and enjoying a simple, laid back life.
Bootie was a proud grandpa and his heart filled with joy whenever his grandchildren were around. As little tots, he loved sitting them on his Harley and then when they were older, taking them for rides (even if it was just around the block). Bootie's love and devotion to Kaedyn, Aundrea and Aubree was unwavering.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas Robert Israel. He is survived by his three sons, Robert Charles Israel, Dusty Alan Israel and Christopher Cody Israel, one sister, Donna Jean (Nee: Israel) Prater, his sister-in-law, Susan Israel, three grandchildren, Kaedyn Israel, Aundrea Israel and Aubree Israel and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bootie will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
