Brandy Michelle
Carter
Aug 29, 1977 — Jul 19, 2023
Brandy Michelle Carter was born August 29th,1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert J. Carter and Patricia A. Carter of Lebanon. Brandy departed her earthly journey on Wednesday July 19th, 2023.
A Lebanon resident most of her life, attended Lebanon High School.
Brandy leaves her mom, Patricia A. Carter of Lebanon and her father, Robert J. Carter and stepmom, Jackie Jones-Carter of Mt. Orab, brother Robert J. Carter II (Sheila) of Lebanon, stepbrother Joe Mindar (Kendall) of Virginia, daughter - Dakota Carter/Schaffner (Daniel) of Lebanon; 3 grandsons-Zayne, Issac, Ozzy and (granddaughter baby Hazel on the verge of making her debut into the world), son Charlie Sunnycalb of Lebanon, Aunt Sonia and Uncle Dave Perry of Lebanon, Aunt Judy Miller of Williamsburg, niece Jessica D. Carter of Miamisburg, niece Payton Carter of PA and "very special great-nieces" Lilly Foster and Jaelynn Carter of Lebanon that could never do enough to help their "Aunt Bran", great nephew Odin Thomas Foster "Odie Podie", and Adam Nathaniel Thulin of Mason. Many cousins, friends and other family members, and her cat "Tux" who brought her great company, joy and comfort in her final days (now adopted by a family member).
The Village Church of South Lebanon over the past year had become her saving grace and lifeline through many a crisis growing in her spiritual journey tremendously basking in the Jesus love she found there and hope for healing and a better life. Wrapping her in Jesus love-and walking with her-she found the niche she had sought her whole life-to be accepted and loved for who she was and right where she was. I know she will be missed greatly for the caring heart she had and the testimony she was to so many.
Brandy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ressie M. Crawford of Russellville, nephew Eric Carter of PA, cousins Jason and Jeffrey of Cincinnati and her cat baby for 19 years-Blue.
Brandy never earned a degree or achieved any great recognition, but she excelled in her love of writing and encouraging others through her daily motivational and spiritual devotions. Blessed with a beautiful strong sense of discernment and spirituality-she was gifted to go beyond the exterior of a person or situation and see the good-and bad. Even with her chronic illness and overwhelming physical and mental struggles she touched many lives and blessed others with hope to keep on trying and fighting. Her sense of humor, her beautiful blue eyes and smile brightened any room and her love and appreciation for the beauty of nature was amazing. A cat lover she was her whole life-and never found a cat she could not nurse to health-her and her son, Charlie, "cat whisperers." Her lifelong hero
character-Wonder Woman! A "wonder woman" she was battling all she encountered in life!
'False liberty isn't worth holding onto.'
